The Colorado Blue Spruce is easily our most popular conifer. It's a classic evergreen that is easy to grow and shears very nicely. The shape is conical and the bark is grayish-brown to dark-gray. New growth in the spring is especially blue in color. Once properly established, this spruce has decent drought and flooding tolerance. Naturally deer resistant. Blueish color ranges from tree to tree.
